invitations??

some invitation options - any opinions?

I figured it out! Now I'm on a posting roll!  Okay, this is all I've got so far, all the rest are attached to this post.

Invitations!  We haven't gotten to far on what the ACTUAL invitations will look like, but are planning for the save-the-dates at least, which will need to go out Jan/Feb time frame.  We got this great stamp in the center there (but with our date), and are going to make postcards with that logo on the front.  On the back: tiny envelopes with a tiny note and a sticker that can go on thef amily calendar to save the date.  I think they're so cute!
This is just other invitation stuff... I found this great artist in Seattle that makes envelopes (she made the evelopes for our Halloween party this year.  She has TONs of colorful, fun, beautiful paper, so we could pick out a bunch of cool patterns, much like the tablecloth patterns, and have really gorgeous envelopes.  She will even make the tiny envelopes for the save the dates and the RSVP envelopes to match the invitation envelopes!

These other slides are just things that catch the eye.

Trees and argyle and mosses and natural patterns, oh my!  There is so much beautiful stuff out there to choose from.

Bridesmaid dresses?  I didn't get too far on this one.  I'm thinking of just going with "blue green or yellow, ending at about the knee.  I could use some input on this one, I can't say I'm a dress shopping aficionado, and I want everyone to be able to wear what they are comfortable in and what fits well, but also have everyone be tied together by SOME commonality so that you can tell who is in the wedding pary.

Idea Book

First things first, I should put up what we've looked at so far that we like!  I have been compiling ideas, things that stick with me, and things Bobby and I have talked about in a Powerpoint presentation for a little while.  Apparently I am subconsciously really into birds and the color green.  I suppose I shouldn't be suprised by that, but for some reason I was, at least a bit. 

Can't figure out how to get more than one picture on the blog per post?  Mayhaps I will have to post them all separately?

First Entry

It has been bugging me today - how do I do a better job of getting designs, ideas, plans (whenever we actually make some!) and other information out to all of our wonderful friends and family who are going to so graciously be involved in this wedding?  And - a blog came to me.  I'm not a fantastic blogger like my boy Bobby - he can make posts too that will likely be more interesting - but I promise to do everything I can to get any information we have or are thinking about out in the open!
